MP-360 Pans 360 degrees and much more, Continuous rotation in either direction,
there is no mechanical stop in the pan rotation direction.

Information for both MP-101b and the MP-360
Ready to use right out of the box. You can pan and tilt at the same time, making diagonal movements. Accommodates a 6 pound load. Tilts +/- 15 degrees, 30 degrees total. Pan and tilt Speed is continuously adjustable from 3 to 12 degrees per second.
 Fastens between any tripod and camera with 1/4-20 threads. Move the camera up & down, right & left. Operates with batteries or optional 12 Volt DC or 120 Volt AC power supplies. Ready for the customer to take the controls. Indoor pan and tilt systems. Used for remote control of high definition cameras, video cameras, digital cameras, lasers etc. This unit is very quiet. It is used in churches, on masts, aerial photography, jib arms, camera cranes, videography, law enforcement, architectural photos, etc. They operate for years, have a thick plastic case, brass worm gears, no backlash, a light touch remote control.

v   The PT3000 A rugged weatherproof variable speed pan tilt head. The heavy-duty PT3000 can stand up to very harsh environments, IP66. Comes ready to use, no customer splicing wires or soldering necessary. You can pan and tilt at the same time, and make diagonal movements. 32 programmable preset positions. 32 pound load. The videos show two motors mounted on top of each other. The top motor is the same motor in each video and is used as a 17 pound weight acting as a load for the bottom motor.
The bottom motor is different in each video even though they look the same.
The bottom motor on the left movie cost much less than the bottom motor on the right movie.
The backlash performance of the motor on the left movie is much worse than the motor on the right movie.
Be careful, jumpy motors produce jumpy pictures.
Backlash is unintended clearance between mating components, sometimes described as the amount of lost motion due to slackness when movement is reversed and contact is reestablished. A similar effect is the taking up of slack when a train starts to pull away at the station and each car bumps as its link becomes tight. Backlash can send shocks through the whole system and can damage teeth and other components.
